  • Service Provider — refers to Google Inc., which provides two services that may be optionally used: (1) Google Sign-In for authentication when you choose to sign in to the Application, and (2) Google Drive for storing optional backups of your data. We do not employ service providers for analytics, marketing, or data processing.

  • Usage Data — refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

  • You — means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

The Application can be used without providing any personal data. However, if you choose to sign in with your Google account when first installing the Application, we collect the following information from your Google profile:

  • Email address

  • Full name

  • Profile picture URL

This sign-in process is entirely optional. You can use the Application without signing in, in which case no personal data is collected. If you choose not to sign in with Google, all your data remains stored locally on your device, and you will not have access to the optional Google Drive backup feature.

Usage Data

We do not collect usage data, analytics, or tracking information from the Application. We do not monitor how you use the Application, what features you access, or any behavioral data. Your creative work and usage patterns remain entirely private.

Use of Your Personal Data

If you choose to sign in with Google, the Company may use your Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service: including facilitating optional features such as Google Drive backups.

  • To manage Your Account: The Personal Data from your Google account (email, name, profile picture) is used to identify you within the Application and provide access to optional features.

  • To contact You: We may contact you by email regarding important Service updates, security updates, or in response to your support requests.

  • To manage Your requests: To attend and manage your support requests.

  • To improve our Service: We may use your information to improve the Application and user experience. We do not use your information for marketing, analytics, advertising, or promotional purposes.

We share Your personal information only in the following limited situations:

  • With Google Inc.: Only when you choose to use Google Sign-In for authentication or Google Drive for backups. Your data is handled directly between your device and Google's servers in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
  • With Your consent: We may disclose Your personal information for any other purpose only with Your explicit consent.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Please note, however, that We may need to retain certain information when we have a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Business Transactions

Data Storage and Third-Party Services

Google Sign-In (Optional)

When you first install the Application, you have the option to sign in with your Google account. This is entirely optional:

  • With Google Sign-In: If you sign in with Google: We collect your email address, full name, and profile picture URL from your Google account. This information is used solely to identify you within the Application and provide you with access to optional features such as Google Drive backups.

  • Without Google Sign-In: If you choose not to sign in: You can use the Application without providing any personal data. All your creative work will be stored locally on your device, and you will not have access to cloud backup features.

When you use Google Sign-In, Google's Privacy Policy also applies to the authentication process.

Local Data Storage

All user-generated content—including books, characters, chapters, notes, timelines, and other creative work—is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database. We do not have access to this content, and it remains entirely under your control on your device. Your creative work never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to create a backup.

Google Drive Backups (Optional)

If you have signed in with Google, the Application offers an optional backup feature that allows you to save your data to your personal Google Drive account. This feature is:

  • Completely optional and controlled by you

  • Your backup files are stored in your own Google Drive account, not on our servers

  • We do not have access to your Google Drive data or backup files

  • The backup and restore process is handled directly between your device and Google's servers

  • Google's Privacy Policy applies to data stored in your Google Drive account

  • You can delete your backups from Google Drive at any time through your Google Drive account

Future Cloud Synchronization Features

We may introduce optional cloud synchronization features in the future that would allow you to sync your data across multiple devices (mobile, tablet, desktop) through our servers. If and when such features are introduced, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly, and you will be notified in advance of any changes. These features will be optional, and you will have full control over whether to use them.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.

If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent's consent before We collect and use that information.
